National Park Pattern

As a child, Antra remembers looking out the window and imagining all the monsters out there. When travelling Canada she didn’t have to imagine.

Antra Svarcs

Antra’s work romanced us on property development hoardings, brightening Abbotsford and stopping us in our tracks. For months we would stroll past in lunch breaks asking: “how do we find this artist?!” We obviously manifested that desire hard as now we have her and her gloriously textured, graphic imagery right here on our roster to share with you. We are very proud to welcome Antra (pronounced ahn-tra) as our first Melbourne based artist.

Antra Svarcs’ work is an exploration of bold pattern and shape. Her background in screen-printing informs the aesthetic of her work, where colour palettes are confident, surfaces are imperfect, and everything comes together with a somewhat energetic zing. This energy is reflected in her personal life where she enjoys getting outside as much as possible, climbing mountains, hiking, bike riding and skiing, she really is our Maker’s Mgmt Bond Girl and these passions inspire her work. If Antra’s not adventuring in nature she’s illustrating enviable outdoorsy lifestyles.

Antra’s dream clients would be those interested in fitness and activity, sustainable living and the environment we live in. She would love to create textiles, have her work associated with events, sports, festivals and of course animals!

If you’d like your project translated as a GIF, she can do that too, so why not give us a call and let Antra get creative for you.
